The long-running, International Beauty Show is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year. The centennial event presented by American Salon will take place, March 12-14, 2017 at the Javits Convention Center in New York City with over 500 companies participating. The International Beauty Show boasts 150 educational demonstrations, business seminars, workshops, and incredible networking opportunities from some of the biggest brands in makeup, skincare, hair, nails, and more.

Ahead of the event, we have rounded up a list of 10 brands not to miss at this year’s International Beauty Show:

1. Hotheads

These hair extensions by Beauty Solutions minimize the typically time-consuming and sometimes damaging process of adding length to your hair. Hotheads extensions go in seamlessly without the aid of tools or heat, last up to eight to ten weeks, and can be reused for up to three applications.

2. Amika

Amika is a fun-loving haircare brand born out of Brooklyn, now celebrating its tenth year in business. The company is all about individuality, optimism, and perfection in imperfection. One of the brand’s defining elements is its inclusion of super fruit Sea Buckthorn Berry in all of its products. They also win customer loyalty points with cute packaging as well as their vegetarian-friendly, cruelty-free products free from sulfates, artificial colors, and other damaging chemicals.

3. Kasho Shears

Kasho offers the highest quality Japanese shears that are as physically sharp as they are in terms of style. The shears use two different types of stainless steel alloys, creating a supremely durable, quality product that cuts hair with acute accuracy. The shears come equipped with optional tension settings that should be regularly readjusted to ensure the greatest comfort and ease of use.

4. Eye Kandy Cosmetics

The Utah-based cosmetic company’s featured product is its Liquid Sugar adhesive base for glitter makeup application, which sets a solid, long-lasting foundation that’ll keep the specks of glitter where you want them, without the annoyance of smudges, glues, and other occupational hazards standing in your way of glittery glam.

5. Drybar

“No cuts. No color. Just blowouts.” The concept is as simple as can be at Drybar, which has expanded from its initial operations in Irvine, CA to a whopping 70 locations across 15 markets. While they are the nation’s leader in professional blowouts, they also have a varied line of shampoos, conditioners, and other hair products to complement the glam salon experience.

6. Gelish

Gelish is one of the handful of industry leaders for soak-off gel polish, and actually has the patent for the first in-bottle gel polish ever created. The company was founded by nail technicians for nail technicians, so expect some new insights on the trade in addition to its product range.

7. La Brasiliana

La Brasiliana

La Brasiliana is one of the leaders in Keratin/collagen hair care products which do the utmost to smooth and shine even the most unruly locks. With the company’s founders boasting over 50 years in the hair industry, La Brasiliana also offers educational training sessions in English and Spanish at their Flushing, NY headquarters.

8. Tish & Snooky’s Manic Panic

10. Soho Style

sohostyle hair accessories

Soho Style first got a taste of success with the elevated popularity of its jeweled butterfly clips, the style of which was trending at the time due in part to Rose’s hair accessories in Titanic. Fast-forward about two decades later, and Soho Style has over 70 domestic and international locations selling a variety of top-quality hair extensions and jeweled hair accessories. They’re also a leader in the business of mall stands.
